Is it safe to leave a candle unattended?
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep it within sight and far from drafts, pets, or children to ensure a safe, aromatic sanctuary.
How long should I burn my candle for?
We recommend burning for 2-3 hours at a time. Never exceed 4 hours to prevent the jar from overheating and to preserve the artisanal oils.
What should I do with the jar when empty?
Once 1/2 inch of wax remains, clean your jar with warm soapy water. They are perfect for repurposing as storage or decor.
Why is my candle smoking or sooting?
Black smoke or mushrooming wicks suggest the flame is working too hard or the wick is too long. Extinguish the candle, let it cool, and trim the wick to exactly 1/4 inch. This ensures a clean, steady flame that won't overheat our signature jars.
Why is my candle tunneling?
If your candle is burning down the center, it’s usually because the first burn was too short. To fix, simply allow the wax to melt completely to the edges on your next light. For deep tunnels, a brief 'foil wrap' can help distribute heat evenly.
